TITLE: Vision enabled self balancing segway robot

Description:

The project entitled "Vision enabled self balancing segway robot" is a Raspberry Pi + Arduino project which balances on two wheels and uses a webcam to detect signs and navigates accordingly. 



We are completely new to OPEN CV, so we used some code that we got online and tailored it to our needs. I included wiring pi library to establish serial communication between Raspberry Pi and Arduino.  

Results:

We tested the algorithm on PC it works very well but when we run it on Raspberry Pi, it was slow.
