TITLE: COMPUTER OPERATED LAND ROVER (XBEE)

Description:

I have worked on this project while working on MTCRV - 2 simultaneously because I have to present both projects at the same venue. Even though I have tight schedule, I managed to complete both projects in stipulated time.

I made this project for ROBO GAMES at MAHOTSAV 2012 at Vignan University. The basic idea is to compete with other bots so, I made this bot with strong metal sheet. This bot is controlled over Xbee RF link through a laptop.

ThE bot competed with other bots in the following events namely, Robo race, soccer, sumo wrestling and Terrain racer. My bot qualified for quarter finals in all the events that are mentioned but unfortunately, in quarter final of Terrain racer, xbee was short circuited as water spilled on it when the bot is crossing an arena with water.

Results:

Eventually, my bot ended up with a participation. But I felt pretty happy when my bot was encouraged by every one in the arena. Audience showed interest in my bot because it is the only bot of its kind. All the bots that participated here are wired bots where as my bot is a wireless bot and more over controlled from laptop. My bot and myself go lot of recognition in this event.

However, on the other hand, my all time favorite bot MTCRV - 2 won me and my college 1st position in this grand symposium "Mahotsav 2012".
